Lalitā Sahasranāma

About Lalitā Sahasranāma

Lalitā Sahasranāma is a sacred hymn of one thousand names of Śrī Lalitā Tripurasundarī, the Divine Mother of the Śrīvidyā tradition. Each name reveals a distinct aspect of Her—beauty, compassion, sovereignty, wisdom, power, and ultimately Her identity with supreme consciousness.

The hymn appears in the Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa as part of the Lalitopākhyāna and is traditionally recited both as devotion and as contemplation. Vedini presents it śloka by śloka so you can listen, chant, read the Sanskrit, understand each divine name word by word, and gradually enter the deeper meaning of the text.
