Acknowledgements
Vedini has been shaped by traditional texts, teachers, performers, tools, and technologies that make it possible to listen, learn, and return to these chants with care.
Vāgdhenu
Gratitude to the Vāgdhenu application and its Sanskrit speech technology, which supported experimentation with generated chanting audio during the development of this project. It helped make repeated listening and practice possible while the learning experience was being built.
Kuldeep M. Pai
Gratitude to Kuldeep M. Pai for his devotional musical work and for recordings that offer learners another way to hear Lalitā Sahasranāma. In Vedini, the KMP audio option is presented as an additional listening reference so learners can hear a different voice and cadence while following the same śloka.
M. S. Subbulakshmi
With reverence and gratitude to M. S. Subbulakshmi, whose devotional music has introduced generations of listeners to Sanskrit and sacred compositions. The MSS listening option is intended to honor that enduring connection and, when recordings are available in the project, to give learners another traditional voice to listen alongside their study.
The living tradition
Above all, gratitude belongs to the teachers, reciters, commentators, families, and lineages through whom these texts have been preserved. A digital project can organize words, meanings, and recordings, but it stands downstream from a much older living tradition of learning by listening, repeating, questioning, remembering, and transmitting.
